Who Owns The Domain Name?

You own the Domain Name. InaServe acts as an intermediary and registers the domain name on your behalf and prvides parking of your domain name on our nameservers. You are listed as the Administrative contact.

How Long Does It Take To Register A Domain Name?

Top Level domain names such as .com, .net and .org domains are registered same day. However .com.au and net.au domain names may take between 24 to 48 hours to be fully registered as there are manual steps which must be fulfilled.

.org.au domain names are notoriously slow to register with waiting periods of between 1 week and 4 weeks.

Once registered, it takes another 24 to 48 hours for the new domain name to propogate around the world (filter through to the rest of the Internet) and be fully recognised world wide as being registered to you.
